Journals, magazines and newspapers are located in the Learning Commons inside Hobby Memorial Library.

The following is a list of print journals available for checkout in the library. The titles are searchable in the library catalog.

    • Published since September 1843 to take part in “a severe contest between intelligence, which presses forward, and an unworthy, timid ignorance obstructing our progress.” The Economist magazine focuses on many areas relating to economics both domestically and globally.  

  • Entrepreneur

    • Entrepreneur magazine highlights people and businesses that have become successful. The magazine also offers articles with tips on how to get a business started, how to get funding, interview tips and much more. 

  • Money 

    • Money helps readers invest sensibly, plan wisely, and spend smartly so they can achieve their goals, from financing their children’s education to supporting their own retirement to affording the trip they've always dreamed of taking.

  • Restaurant Business Magazine

    • Restaurant Business Magazine provides news, expert advice, and growth strategies for restaurant owners and operators.

  • Security Management

    • Security Management is the award-winning flagship publication of ASIS International, the preeminent international organization for security professionals. While Security Management is written primarily for security professionals, it also makes vital security information understandable to a general business audience.

  • Wall Street Journal Magazine

    • Wall Street Journal Magazine focuses on the arts industry of business as well as travel, design, food, and culture.
