Go to https://www.ctcd.edu/academics/library/

• Click Catalog 
• Next to the Search bar is an advanced search
• Change the Search Term from keyword to Subject Phrase
• Then put "picture book" in the bar to the right
• Then look to the left and click Print book

This is a way to see what picture books are available at our library for classroom Storytime

You can also search "board books" this way. 

• Filter for a date on the left if you are looking for recent books. Put 2018 to 2024 for our latest Storytime books. Don't filter for the date if you want to see our entire collection. 
• If you want to make a list of your saved favorites, click save, next to each book. 

Then click saved items and email the list to yourself. 

You can also email [email protected] with your CTC ID if you want us to save the books for you. 

While the library has a lot of books, we don't have every one.  If there is a book that you want to read and we don't have it, put in an Interlibrary Loan Request!  An interlibrary loan is when one library loans another library a book for a patron there to use.  It usually takes around two weeks for a book to arrive at the destination library after it has been requested.  If you have any questions, stop by and talk to the library staff—they'll be glad to help.
